🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Abejitas Parents,

This week we will learn about our community and the environment where we live as well as public and private institutions of our city. Children will discover the roles and characteristics of our community servants and will learn to respect and admire the job they do.

We have scheduled many fun learning activities to strengthen gross and fine motor skills, cognitive and language and socio-emotional skills related to this theme. Some of them are: playing with corn, sensory bottles, sand and water. We will continue giving massages to the babies to continue developing their fine and gross motor skills.

·         Wear shoe covers and wash your hands and your child hands when entering your child’s classroom.

·         Knock before entering the classroom to make sure there is no one behind the door

·         Wash your hands and your child’s hands once you enter the classroom.

·         Always make sure that your child has extra set of clothing that is appropriate to weather in his/her cubby and label it with your child’s name

·         Bring diapers, wipes and rash ointment and label them with your child’s name.

·         Bring your child’s bottles labeled with your child’s name and date.

·         Read, review and fill out your child’s journal with information for the teacher and make sure to add last change of diaper and time of your child’s last meal.

🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Abejitas Parents,

This week we will continue learning about family. We will look at family pictures and we will sing songs about family and dance and making music with sensory bottles. To continue strengthening motor skills, we will provide massage to babies, we will play with balls and we will touch leaves in the park.

Dear Abejitas Parents,

This week we will learn about family. We will look at family pictures and we will sing songs about family and dance to different rhythms while wearing a hat on top of our heads. To continue strengthening motor skills, we will provide massage to babies.
