🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Abejitas Parents,

This week we will learn about the parts of our body. We have scheduled exciting learning activities related to this theme that will allow us also to continue strengthening fine and gross motor, cognitive-sensory and language skills. Children will receive massages as well.

🔆 Friendly Reminders

• Wear shoe covers and wash your hands and your child hands when entering your child’s classroom.
• Knock before entering the classroom to make sure there is no one behind the door
• Wash your hands and your child’s hands once you enter the classroom.
• Read, review and fill out your child’s journal with information for the teacher.
• Label all your child’s clothing and items.
• Always make sure that your child has extra set of clothing that is appropriate to weather in his/her cubby.
• Bring diapers, wipes and rash ointment and label them with your child’s name.
• Bring your child’s bottles labeled with your child’s name and date.
• Check your child’s journal and make sure to add last change of diaper and time of your child’s last meal.

• Labor Day on Monday, September 5th. School will be closed.
• International Reading Day on Thursday, September 8th.

🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Abejitas Parents,

This week we will continue introducing the children to the school, staff, etc. We have scheduled exciting learning activities related to this theme that will allow us to continue strengthening motor, cognitive-sensory and language skills. For example, we will take a walk in the playground where older children play and we will explore the surroundings. We will also experiment with the children different textures and we will enjoy reading books about the school.

• Bring the following materials to the classroom: small box, fabrics and ribbons.
• Bring cheerios for your child.

• Check your child’s cubby and make sure to bring extra set of clothing that is appropriate to weather as well as extra diapers, wipes and diaper rash ointment/cream.
• Bring your child’s bottles labeled with your child’s name and date.

Dear Abejitas Parents,

It's that time of year again “Back To Pre-School”! This week we will introduce the children to the teachers, the director and assistant director and they will enjoy a tour of the classrooms, kitchen, lunchroom, playground, etc. We have scheduled exciting learning activities related to this theme that will allow us to continue strengthening motor, cognitive-sensory and language skills.

🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Abejitas Parents,

The last week of Summer Camp is finally here and we want to thank you for giving us the opportunity  to teach and take care of your little children. We feel special and value our work. This week we will learn to be Little Clowns and Magicians. We will talk about the circus and its people. We have scheduled exciting learning activities related to this theme that will allow us to continue strengthening motor, cognitive-sensory and language skills such as participating in a show with circus puppets, pretending to prepare a pizza, painting our faces and playing with balls.

📄 Materials for Special Projects

• Bring swimsuit, splashers or swim diapers, water shoes and towel for your child for Splash days. Pack all these items in a tote made of fabric and label it with your child’s name.

🔆 Friendly Reminders

• Check your child’s cubby and make sure to bring extra set of clothing that is appropriate to weather as well as extra diapers, wipes and diaper rash ointment/cream.
• Sunscreen is important to protect your child because he/she is very susceptible to sunburn. Yet applying sunscreen to your child requires planning. If sunscreen must be applied to your child, make sure to fill out an administration or authorization form specifying when sunscreen should be applied and be sure to supply the sunscreen and label the sunscreen bottle with your child's name.
